Wireless Disabled Toilet Alarm Kit - Battery Powered Control

This wireless kit is fully battery powered and meets the requirements for emergency signaling systems for disabled persons and can help compliance with BS8300, the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 and Building Regs Part M. All kit components are battery powered, with all required batteries supplied. Everything is provided to deliver an effective, fully compliant, simple to install and simple to use wireless system.
Battery status is monitored by the control panel. When the battery requires replacing, the control panel will indicate a fault. When fault is indicated replace all batteries within the system. The system should be tested monthly and we recommend that all batteries are replaced every twelve months. This system could also be used as an emergency assistance alarm in changing rooms, interview rooms, reception areas etc.

Cable and Fixings are not supplied.

How the Aidalarm works
1. The Aidalarm controller should be sited where staff are located who can respond to an emergency call.
2. Ceiling pull cord and optional Dado panic strip or call buttons are situated in the toilet or other area where assistance may be required. Note: If using Dado Panic Strip a S1705W Call button will also be required.
3. Pulling the cord or pressing the panic strip/call button generates an audible/visual alarm at both the WC area and at the control panel. An LED will flash at the pull cord giving the caller reassurance that the call has been placed, this LED will extinguish when it receives acknowledgement from the controller.
4. The call can be silenced by pressing the button on the front of the control panel.
5. The audible indicators at the WC will bleep to re-assure the caller.
6. Should the cord be pulled again while in the silenced state, the system will call again.
7. Non-attendance will cause the panel to bleep every 40 seconds as a warning.
8. The system can only be reset by the Press to Reset button located at or near the point of call.
